Fall 2025 Dates: August 24, September 28, October 26, November 23 or 30
In Matthew 16:24, Jesus told his followers, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me." Jesus invited his disciples to follow him. Then Jesus commanded his disciples to make disciples of others in Matthew 28:18-20.
Our aim in these leadership courses is to develop, train, and replicate leaders at Wilkesboro Baptist Church.
The Fall 2025 course is an invitation to any teacher, Bible study leader, minister, or servant who wants to better understand and communicate Scripture.
Spring 2025 Leadership School Information
You can find the spring 2025 syllabus attached below. Our aim with these courses is to develop leaders within the life of WBC in order to effectively lead our neighbors and the nations to follow Jesus.
If you are interested in learning more, you can find details in the attached syllabus. We are making this course available to all church members who are willing to attend. If you would like to secure your spot, complete the registration form on the final page of the syllabus and return to the church office.
We are asking for consistency in participation if you decide to register for this training. With your registration, you are making a commitment to the following:
- Attend the four training sessions;
- Read the assigned book and book for review;
- Participate in the discussion during sessions;
- Serve at WBC;
- Apply spiritual disciplines and habits as learned in sessions;
- Commit to practicing our church's mission to lead our neighbors and the nations to follow Jesus.
Our first class begins Sunday, August 24. Registration should be completed online or in the church office. We will begin at 5:00pm and finish around 7:00pm in the back of the church's Fellowship Hall.
