Weekday Preschool
The Wilkesboro Baptist Weekday Preschool follows a similar calendar to Wilkes County Schools (September - May). Below you will find more information about the classes and programs our amazing preschool offers, including curriculum, daily routines, registration information, and more.
Your Child's Day at Preschool
We offer a Christian, half-day preschool program that meets Monday through Friday (September - May) and seeks to meet the needs of our students cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We serve students, ages one through five, and their families on the campus of Wilkesboro Baptist Church.
Although each class routine varies, your child will have center play time, circle time, healthy snacks, art, and outside playground time. Your child will have daily access to building and manipulative toys, books, nature/science materials, dramatic play equipment, and art materials. Classroom materials are constantly changed throughout the year to reflect seasonal changes and curriculum studied.
We learn through play at the Weekday Preschool and will begin using the curriculum
ABC Jesus Loves Me in the 2025-2026 school year. This curriculum combines academic, biblical, and developmental learning in a play-based curriculum that builds a solid foundation for preschoolers and promotes goals for kindergarten readiness. It aligns with the
NC Foundations for Early Learning and will help our preschoolers reach developmental milestones, academic goals, and grow in their spiritual development.
Your child's safety is important to us at Wilkesboro Baptist! Security cameras are located at all campus entrances and around the building perimeter. All exterior church entrances are secured during the preschool day and public entry is only permitted through a single security door at the discretion of the office staff.
We use the
Brightwheel app to connect our classrooms and families with all of the amazing things going on in our Weekday Preschool! Brightwheel gives parents the ability to participate in their child's day through pictures, information updates, and direct communication with preschool staff.

Registration Information and Forms
Below is the registration info for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Public registration begins Monday, March 3, 2025.
Enrollment Fees and Information
Classes:
- 1's Class - Children turning 1 by August 31
- 2's Class - Children turning 2 by August 31
- 3's Class - Children turning 3 by August 31
- 4's Class - Children turning 4 by August 31
Tuition: $230 per month
2025-2026 Registration Forms:
Early Drop-Off
Early Drop-Off (Daily, Monday - Friday from 7:50am to 8:30am)
You may choose any day (Monday - Friday) for Early Drop-Off.
The Early-Drop Off fee is $3.00 per child each day.
*Early Drop-Off, Late, and other fees are invoiced to families monthly as charges are incurred.
