Our Weekday Preschool ministry is a Christian, half-day preschool program that meets
Monday through Friday (September - May) and seeks to meet the needs of our students
cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.  We serve students,
ages one through five, and their families on the campus of Wilkesboro Baptist Church.


We are seeking preschool staff members who are followers of Christ, have early childhood
education experience (preschool/childcare), and understand learning through play.



O P E N  P O S I T I O N S  :


THREE-YEAR-OLD TEACHER

We are currently seeking a teacher to lead our three-year-old classroom.


The ideal candidate:

  • Is a committed follower of Christ;
  • Has experience working with preschool-age children (especially three-year-olds);
  • Preferably has training and/or education in early childhood development.


Our teachers use a provided curriculum to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.  Candidates must also be able to lift up to 30 lbs as part of daily classroom responsibilities.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

The Weekday Preschool is currently hiring substitutes for all classrooms.  An ideal candidate will be a follower of Christ and have experience working with preschool-age children, with the flexibility to be on-call as needed during the school year.  Substitutes are coordinated at the earliest knowledge of a staff member being out and fill in by assisting in the daily work of the classroom.
