Caroline Mercer

Women's Ministry Director

Caroline Mercer made the decision to follow Christ at a young age and has been working in various ministry capacities since she began serving in leadership in her middle school youth group. She has served as a volunteer in youth ministry, women’s ministry, hospitality ministry, and in lay counseling functions for churches in California, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina while her husband was an active-duty Army service member.

After her husband left the military, their family moved to Louisville, Kentucky where Caroline studied at the Seminary Wive’s Institute of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Upon completion of her studies Caroline moved with her family to Uganda to serve as a missionary. Caroline then continued her volunteer church service upon returning to the United States in 2020.

Caroline has been married to her husband, Steven, since 2003 and they are in the process of raising their six children. She enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and loves to spend time exploring nature. She is currently pursuing a BS of Psychology at Liberty University with the goal of becoming a licensed Christian counselor to better serve her local church.
