Diana Mathis

Preschool Director

Diana brings over forty years of education experience to our Weekday Preschool team. She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Appalachian State University in elementary education, including a birth to kindergarten teaching license and certification in exceptional children and general curriculum.

She worked for Wilkes County Schools for 33 years. She has been a member of Wilkesboro Baptist Church for 26 years, serving in the children's ministry and WMU. Diana brings a level of knowledge and capability in early childhood education that enriches our Weekday Preschool and helps it continue to thrive and grow!

Diana is married to Talmadge, they have 5 daughters and 15 grandchildren.
