Steve Robinson
Lay Elder
Steve Robinson is a retired pastor with more than 47 years of ministry experience. He began Christian ministry in 1971, pastored several churches in Indiana, and then retired after 15 years of ministry at the First Baptist Church of Van Wert, Ohio on December 31, 2017.
Pastor Steve and his wife Ethel were both raised in Enid, Oklahoma, where Steve trusted Christ as his personal Savior in “junior” church. He graduated from Grand Rapids School of Bible & Music with a diploma in Christian Education, received a BA degree at Grace College and went on to obtain a Master of Divinity degree from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. He also received a diploma from the Institute of Holy Land Studies while in Israel.
Highlights of his ministry included teaching at Word of Life Bible Institute in Hungary, mission trips to Sao Paulo and the Amazon in Brazil, Panama, and India.
Steve and Ethel now live in Millers Creek and enjoy being near their only son and his family who moved from Alaska to the area in early 2018. They have three grandchildren.
