  • How can I become a member Wilkesboro Baptist Chuch?

Church membership is an important part of participating in the church. The Bible describes the church as a body with members. Every member is necessary and beneficial to the body. By joining a church, you are committing to participate in the life of the church body through attendance, service, worship, Sunday School, giving, and helping others to become followers of Jesus Christ.

As a part of the church body, you will be responsible for encouraging and strengthening not causing division. Because joining a church is a serious commitment to the church's mission, it is not a decision to take lightly.

To join Wilkesboro Baptist Church you need to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. You also need to be baptized by immersion. You will need to speak to an elder about your desire to become a member. Finally, you'll need to attend our Next Steps class

We would be happy to talk with you further concerning church membership. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have info@wilkesborobaptist.org

  • What are your core beliefs?

Our core beliefs are founded on the gospel and Scripture. We believe that people are saved by grace through faith in the gospel - the good news that Jesus gave his perfect life as a sacrifice for our sins and raised from the grave to conquer death. We believe that Scripture is God's inerrant and infallible Word.
